Party Crasher is part of the current Mode Cosmetics collection and is a Royal Purple creme. Please excuse the less than perfect photos, purple looks blue as per usual! I found this shade to be a little tricky to work with – it went on thick, so thick I only needed one coat, and dried very slowly. I also found that my top coat (I use inm Out The Door) changed this shade so much that I swatched it without any top coat on at all. The top coat not only made the shade look twice as dark as it actually was, but it also made the colour streak. I would have tried a different brand of top coat to see if it behaved the same – but I don't have another one! I would suggest a drop of thinner in this shade to make sure you don't get bubbling too. If you have the time and patience for this shade then give it a go, because it is a gorgeous colour.

ReplyDeleteI wish I could get my purples to work on camera... I always end up giving up when trying to take pictures of them, they never come out right! That is probably why I don't keep a nail blog (also because I have shortshortSHORT nails, haha)
Ohhh, I just bought this one! Haven't done a full mani yet but I'll keep the thickness in mind. Fine with me if it's a one coater:) I use Orly In A Snap at the moment. That seems to work well for me.
