Sally Hansen Nail Prisms #04 South Sea Pearl - Cream Version

South Sea Pearl is one of the more subtle Nail Prisms - but it is very pretty non-the-less! It has a cream base and flashes a soft mint green on some angles, and a pretty baby pink on other angles! If you are going for the wow factor, I would suggest reaching for one of the other Prisms - but if you are looking for an office or court-friendly shade, then this is perfect! It is an everyday shade with a difference!

Please excuse my cuticles for the first few posts of these shades - I had a reaction to a product that was not pretty!
I found this shade just as easy to apply as the previous shades reviewed, and again, two coats were enough to achieve a great finish! It is slightly sheer if you hold your hands up to the light, but not enough to classify it as a sheer. I'm impressed with the shade and the formula!

I will be listing all the prisms I have available on OZtion for any Australian ladies interested in owning one! I will also be offering them for trade on MakeupAlley and in Vibrant V's Petite Boutique in the near future for anyone, anywhere!

  5. Try a flakie like Hidden Treasure or one of the Maybelline Colorama top coats over this. I used Colorama Blazes of Blue over this and it was amazing - not too crazy for office wear but take it outside and WOW!

  9. If you have a favourite faux pearl necklace or earrings on which the paint has chipped, 2-3 coats of this colour will make it look almost new. It is the colour most like natural colour of pearl, and is good year round for a sophisticated subtle look at work. However it looks stunning after you have a tan. And as someone else said, this is the perfect polish to wear with a wedding gown. The iridescence is enchanting.
